Hot Basalt Stones add the benefits of heat therapy, energy grounding and balance the flow of energy. When used as tools on tight areas, the heat of the stones melts stuck fascia and tight, hard muscles. The result is muscles that release without a fight, and melt like butter. We can get profound results without irritating or digging too deep into sore muscles.
Cold Marble Stones are only used when needed. Cold helps flush out inflammation and feels refreshing when applied after the area has been heated first. In the warmer months, cold stones also feel great resting in your hands, while hot stones heat other areas.
Cupping is traditionally done by acupuncturists to increase blood flow and loosen stuck areas. Applying suction cups on a tight area for just 5 minutes increases blood flow as much as rubbing the area for 30 min! It works by pulling gently instead of pushing, to break up adhesions and stretch the area. Cupping is ideal for extra tight muscles, scar tissue and myofascial adhesions
"As a long-time massage practitioner and energy healer, I have a great appreciation for all that Lisa brings to her sessions. Truly the Cadillac of massage, she incorporates so many layers of luxury, impeccable attention to detail, structural alignment work and a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to heal on all levels. Her aromatherapy blends are divine, and her quality of touch both grounding and energizing. I've used her both as my preferred massage therapist and as my healthy-cooking teacher, and she is my go-to person to consult when health issues arise. She is a wellspring of knowledge, wisdom and insight." --Brenda Young, Life Coach, Energy Healer, Massage Therapist, MT Instructor
